Structural bioinformatics and molecular recognition

There are over 25000 protein and nucleic acid structures deposited in the Protein Data Bank (PDB). This provides a wealth of information that may be utilized for predicting biomolecular interactions, including protein-ligand docking and protein complex formation. The accurate prediction of these interactions has application in protein engineering, drug design, and elucidation of biochemical pathways. Our lab develops computational methods for prediction and analysis of such interactions.
